We are a small team of stakeholders, editors, PTA’s, photographers and media designers, who have been dealing with the topic of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis for more than 10 years. The reason for this is the serious illness of the website founder.
In order to get well again and live a reasonably normal life, the founder of this website, and then the rest of the team, began with intensive research in scientific studies, literature, websites, forums and above all, direct exchange among those affected. Always with the goal in mind, to understand this autoimmune disease and get to grips with.
Sharing knowledge to help those affected
From the very beginning, it was important for us to share our knowledge and experience with other stakeholders to help them along the difficult path of the disease. In the meantime a lot of well-founded knowledge has accumulated here and we are very proud each time and we are very happy when people send us emails in which they thank us for our help and the information provided. This gives us strength and drives us to continue to gather exciting and helpful information and then publish it here in an easily understandable way.
However, it is also very important to us, not only to look at Hashimoto’s thyroiditis from a conventional medical perspective, but also to think outside the box, and to point out functioning therapeutic approaches that have long been known among those affected, but unfortunately still are not used in conventional medicine.
